In an evening of speeches, interviews and impromptu table topic speeches, our members developed their skills in a variety of areas:
- Harjit shared a personal story about being between a rock and a hard place
- Amelia practiced the art of effective body language on a Zoom call
- David provided a simple, anecdotal guide to how to deal with the phenomenon of “Zoom Bombing”
- Rebecca was interviewed by Andrea in preparation for an interview on the BBC’s Women’s Hour
As ever, all of our speakers received helpful feedback and encouragement. We then had time for a fun Table Topics session, led by Yazmin Sanchez
